MCHC Affordable Housing Efforts Applauded by Alberta Legislative Assembly

December 3, 2012 – The work to advance Métis and Aboriginal affordable housing by Métis Capital Housing Corporation (MCHC) was recognized in early December by all members of the Alberta Legislative Assembly.

Naresh Bhardwaj, the MLA for Edmonton-Ellerslie, who has had a number of contacts with the organization in recent months, invited senior management to attend the opening of the Legislature session on Monday, December 3. The MLA had represented the Government of Alberta at the official opening of the new offices during the summer and indicated at that time that he would like to give credit to the organization in front of all members of the Legislature.
